1. Who can participate in the ISEL Reading Challenge 2025?
Anyone from any country is eligible to participate in the challenge.
2. How do I register for the challenge?
Visit the official registration page, fill out the form, and complete the payment to receive your submission link.
3. What kind of book can I review?
You may review any book that has inspired or impacted you personally. Fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and even academic books are all acceptable.
4. What language should the video be in?
All video submissions must be in English only. Submissions in other languages will not be considered.
5. What should my video review include?
Your video should:
- Be between 5 to 10 minutes long
- Introduce the book and its author
- Summarize key ideas or the plot (without spoilers if possible)
- Explain why the book impacted you
- Include your personal reflections or learnings
6. Are there any technical requirements for the video?
Yes. Please ensure:
- Clear audio and video quality
- Proper lighting and framing
- Minimal background noise
7. What is the last date to submit my video?
The submissions are open from April 10 to June 10. Late entries will not be accepted.
8. Can I submit more than one entry?
Yes, participants are allowed to submit more than one video entry. You will have to register for each entry.
9. How will the winners be selected?
A panel of international academic and literary experts will judge videos based on:
- Content depth and originality
- Communication skills
- Presentation and technical quality
10. Will my video be shared publicly?
Yes, all accepted video entries will be published on ISEL’s official YouTube channel and may be shared on social media for public engagement.
11. Will I receive a certificate or prize?
Yes! All participants will receive e-certificates.
